Feel free to bring your entire family to Longbeard Farms as there is much to do. Jefferson County is very historic and is known as the first permanent capital of Georgia. In fact, the Yazoo Fraud was perpetrated against our State on the current courthouse grounds through which the states of Alabama and Mississippi were carved from Georgia territory. You can visit the legendary Orchards Gourmet Nuts, Candies and Gifts location in Wrens and enjoy their homemade pecan goodies and gift products that are shipped and sold worldwide. You can also visit the old slave market in downtown Louisville and visit the many quaint Mom & Pop shops there. The shopping in Augusta is outstanding and is about a 30 minute drive from the lodge. We will be happy to provide you with directions to all of those locations and provide references on outstanding shopping (compliments of my wife)..
